Looking for parts for my Yamaha XT600Z Tenere

I've been reading through your forum using Google Translate. Kazakhstan sounds like an awesome place to ride.

I'm travelling from the Netherlands on my old Yamaha XT600Z Ténéré and will be in Kazakhstan in a month or so. It is in need of some new parts and I'm hoping to buy these in Kazakhstan:

- A new rear rim, 18"x2.50" including spokes
- Metzeler Karoo 3 or Continental TKC80 tires front and rear
- A new battery (YB12AL-A2)
- Some oil filters (KN-145)
- Also some new protection (vest, pants, helmet maybe)

Do you know where I could buy any of this?

Do you need a shining new rim with spokes or will a used whole wheel be enough?

The delivery and taxes here make any new parts and tires a bit expensive, I'll ask around about the prices

@benzo, Battery and filter don't need to be Yuasa and K&N. Bosch/Varta and HiFlo will do fine, thanks for the tip.

@MCVL, The rim doesn't need to be shining new. A used wheel will do, if we're able to transplant it to my hub. I'm curious to hear what you find out.

The rim should be fine even if it's lower quality as long as you don't hit a rock on flat tires, Yamaha OEM were of course highest quality, which is why they lived so long, but Yamaha discontinued those rims and didn't replace with anything

There are a lot of 2.15 x 18 rims that should fit, but those are a bit narrower and might make the ride less comfortable
